Meet Our Team.
Committee Brid RNA
A small team of committee members help to ensure that Bridlington Royal Naval Association runs as smoothly as possible. All are volunteers and give up their time freely to help support members and to ensure that the core values of the RNA are observed

Chairman: Martin Jolly
Martin has been Chairman of the Bridlington Branch since 2014. Amongst his other roles he is also Chairman of Bridlington's branch of the RBL and Commanding Officer of TS Pathfinder, Sea Cadets Bridlington.
Martin served in the Royal Navy for four and a half year and left as a Leading Seaman.
Martin is constantly working to help people in the veterans and Bridlington community as a whole. He currently self employed.

Vice Chairman:Mike "Daisy" Adams
Daisy has been a member of the RNA since moving to Bridlington. He was secretary for seven years from 2008 and took up the role as vice Chairman in 2022.
Previous to retirement daisy was a Radio electrician on nuclear submarines and was a sergeant in the metropolitan police force. He was also CO of his home town sea cadets for several years and is currently treasurer for TS Pathfinder in Brid

Treasurer Mike Cook
Mike "Cookie" Cook has been treasurer for two years. He runs a successful driving instructor school and is a very active member of the RNA
Mike served for 22 years in the RN and left with the rate of Chief Petty Officer.

President: Mike "Rubes" Rubery
Rubes has been President of RNA Brid since 2025. He also holds the role as Secretary of Bridlington & District Submariners Association.
Rubes served for just short of 18 years in the RN and completed his service as a CPOWEA on nuclear powered hunter killer submarines including HMS Warspite, HMS Conqueror and HMS Trenchant

Public Relations Officer: Ian Ellis
Ian is an associate member with several years experience as an amateur photographer. He became unofficial phot officer in 2017 and became a member of the RNA in 2022.
Ian was previously a lecturer in games design at Bradford college before retiring in 2021 and moving to Bridlington.
