Visit to RNA Cleethorpes

Our recent trip on the Yorkshire Belle saw our serving member and local author, Richard Jones, presenting a framed photograph of present crew at the unveiling of a memorial to mark the loss of the original Yorkshire Belle. HMS Yorkshire Belle was requistioned by The RN but was sadly lost in the Humber in 1941 having believed to have hit a mine. All nine lives aboard were lost.
